The Liège Museums’ Education Department offers a series of educational programs for schools.

As a partner of PECA, it supports teachers and program leaders in actively exploring the collections, fostering creativity, artistic expression, and an understanding of cultural heritage. Its approach emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and offers a variety of cultural experiences, allowing everyone to build knowledge, engage in dialogue, and experience the museum in a new way. These educational programs serve as an essential bridge between the collections and the school environment, helping students become active and responsible citizens by encouraging various forms of artistic expression. Museums can be visited independently or with a guide from the Museums’ Education Department.

Free admission for self-guided tours and educational materials [lien] are available for preschool, elementary, and secondary school groups for the permanent collections. Admission and materials for temporary exhibitions vary.

The museums aim to make the collections and exhibitions accessible to all visitors. As a result, visits adapted to audiences with specific needs have been developed. La Boverie renewed its adherence to the Acces-i certification and also received the Akcess People's Choice Award in 2016.

People with reduced mobility

The Museum is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility, thanks to the presence of lifts and disabled parking spaces nearby. The museum also has wheelchairs and stick seats available for visitors, as well as accessible toilets. [lien vers la page “accessibilité”]
